Methods of operation:
Version 1: Filled trays are loaded manually onto the infeed conveyor. The T 350
does the rest automatically: lidding film infeed, optional evacuation and inert gas flushing, application and cutting of the lid film.
Version 2: Trays are filled on the T 350. An automatic denesting system (optional extra)
takes empty trays out of a storage container and places them on the infeed conveyor. The trays are
transported in cycles and can be filled manually or automatically at user-designated positions.
Filled trays subsequently proceed through machine for sealing.
Sealing, cutting - finished!
According to the packaging program selected, the trays are either sealed in a normal atmosphere or
are evacuated and gas-flushed first (optional extra) in the sealing die, which operates independently
of the tray infeed conveyor. A shape cutting unit removes the excess lidding film by cutting it off
around the tray rim. The film trim is wound up with motor assistance. An inline cut system is available
as an optional extra. This system cuts the lidding film off so that it is exactly flush with the rim of the tray.
Skin applications and opening facilities such as easy-peel corners or tabs are generally possible as well.

While the evacuation, sealing and cutting operations are under way in the sealing die, a gripper
system is already loading and unloading the next batch of trays. This system is dependable
even at optimum capacity utilisation levels, because of its ingeniously simple and robust
mechanical structure. This saves time and frustration. Multivac's sealing die design, already proven to be
successful in thousands of our thermoforming machines, guarantees maximum pack reliability
thanks to extremely high sealing pressure and perfect seals.
