Tray infeed: Total Flexibility
Fill the trays with product before placing them into the T 400 or fill the empty trays manually
or automatically on the infeed conveyor! Full trays may also be placed on the conveyor either
manually or via a separate infeed system. The T 400 even allows you to package trays with
the same shape but a different depth at the same time.
Smooth and precise tray transfer
Trays for each operating cycle are positioned exactly, transported to the swivel table by
the gripper system and loaded. A 180° swivel movement is made and the unsealed trays
are taken into the sealing die while the finished trays are transported
away. Completed trays are then transferred to the discharge system by the gripper, while
the packs are loaded in the swivel table for the next cycle.
Sealing, cutting - neat and tidy
According to the packaging program, the trays are either sealed in a normal atmosphere or
are evacuated and gas-flushed first (cf. additional equipment). A shape cutting unit then
removes the excess lidding film by cutting it off around the tray rim. Excess film trim is wound
up automatically.
