Safe for the product and the package
Both drying tunnels blow room-temperature air – rather than heat – over the finished
packages to avoid any warming of the product. Visual scanners also keep the air
nozzles at an ideal distance from the package surface to prevent any damage from
contact.
Drying in a continuous flow
Packages leaving the shrink machine, now wet, are transported into the drying tunnel.
Here, several powerful air nozzles blow room-temperature air onto the package to dry
it quickly. The top two nozzles raise and lower themselves – always at an ideal distance
from the package without touching the surface. Together with fixedposition nozzles
drying from beneath the package, this ensures a thorough drying result, with the
package now ready for labeling or other further handling as desired.
Your shrink packages deserve the best in drying as well
Multivac drying tunnels are ideally suited for complete lines. Like our shrink tunnels,
they function according to the flow-path principle, i.e. shrinking and drying in a
continuous process, without the breaks or delays sometimes caused by cycling Dried
packages can immediately be labeled or packaged further. – That saves production
time and expense!
