Development of the Product Portfolio

In 1961, MULTIVAC commenced manufacturing vacuum chamber machines. The first thermoforming packaging machine was developed as long ago as 1967, the fundamental concept of which is still recognisable in the current models. In the 1990s, a third product group the tray sealer was added. In the interim, MULTIVAC now supplies the complete range of packaging solutions for the food, medical device and consumer product industries. In addition to packaging machines, the product portfolio now includes handling modules for loading, unloading, and channelling, inspection systems for quality control and foreign object detection, as well as marking and labelling solutions for various pack types.
