Metal Detector: fast and accurate inline testing

The metal detector applies a magnetic field to each individual pack and checks for metal contamination. The pack and its contents are completely undamaged.
Metal contaminated packs can optionally be ejected or can be reported as defective to downstream line elements.
Model for integration in Multivac thermoformers
The metal detector is fully integrated into the outfeed conveyor of the thermoformer, thus, being perfectly synchronised to the packaging cycle.
Model for integration in Multivac convergers
Multivac convergers come with many thermoformers. The metal detector is integrated into the MBS100-300 converger.
Stand-alone model with conveyor
The metal detector head is mounted on a rugged conveyor system. Full flexibility in metal detection is achieved by these individual systems.
