DARFRESH: perfect vacuum skin packaging


The DARFRESH vacuum skin packaging (VSP) process uses special films that gently surround the product and seal over the entire surface of the pack like a second skin, preserving shape, texture and product integrity for a premium retail presentation. 

Multivac has developed a comprehensive line of thermoform machinery specifically for DARFRESH packaging.

  • DARFRESH BLOOM: a special 3-web package which helps vacuum-packed meat retain its fresh red color
  • DARFRESH Simple Steps: a 3-web pack which can be heated in the microwave after removal of the top film
